Brain Science Institute, which has been established as a specialized institute by bringing together globally-competitive relevant research areas, carries out comprehensive brain research to unveil the secrets of the brain by identifying cognitive functions for mind-behavior control via convergence of BT, IT, NT, CT, and engineering. The Institute is comprised of the Center for Neuroscience, the Center for Functional Connectomics, the Center for Neuro-Medicine, and the Center for Bio-Microsystem, where many world-renowned researchers cooperate with one another by exchanging their respective expertise to eventually find ways for overcoming brain disorders. The Institute is committed to becoming the hub for world-leading brain science research.
